Background

Our lab provides bioinformatics support in several other local, national and international research projects.

• We are sampling normal thyroid tissue samples obtained from body donors in collaboration with prof. Maxime Tarabichi from ULB.
• Together with the Ceelen lab we are using genomic and transcriptomic approaches to determine new treatment options for peritoneal metastases. This collaboration is part of the European TRANSCAN PERIMMUNE project.
• In collaboration with the research groups 'Medical Genetics' (University of Antwerp) and 'Larsson Lab' (University of Gothenburg), we are studying the gastro-intestinal neuro-endocrine tumor genome.
